A Tribute To Our Teachers!

"In my young teenage days,
All the months leaving May.
I was taught by a bunch of superheroes,
Whom I both respected and feared.
                 They were the peaceful preachers,
                 Whom we lovingly called teachers.
They made my life a distraught Heaven,
                  And a peaceful Hell.
They contributed to all of my knowledge,
But I never thanked them enough.
I was simply a shapeless dough,
And they were The Santa Claus.
                 They ought to be respected,
                 They need to be remembered.
                 But these days they aren't.
                 They suffer miserably.
To care for the younger tots,
Is in fact a Herculean task.
Then why don't they deserve,
An Olympian reward?
                Thank you, O' Great Ones!
                Your time and patience,
                Is well appreciated!"
                               - Dhananjay Shitkar.

SONNET #2

"I remember I remember,
The 5th of September.
When teachers were respected,
And they weren't dishonored.
                      I remember I remember,
                      The 25th of December,
                      When Christmas was about families,
And gifts didn't birth to jealousy.
I remember I remember,
The 31st of December,
When people were excited for a new year,
And not for the salty chips and beer.
But now all I can do is remember,
As these memories are long buried."
                                  - Dhananjay Shitkar.

SONNET #1

"When my days were dark,
She came in with a piece of heart.
When I needed her,
She was there forever.
                            People did scare me,
But she was there to comfort me.
When I was filled with hate,
To fill me with love, she was all set.
When I was all alone,
She was the dog and I was the bone.
When I was discouraged,
She was the one who encouraged.
                           Oh Mother!
Now that you ain't here, it does bother!"
                                                            - Dhananjay Shitkar.

"Love."

"I love you from the bottom of my heart.
No, I am not exaggerating.
Neither, am I on any drugs.
I felt like pouring my heart out today, and i am.
You have been with me every time.
In my sadness providing a shoulder,
While in my happiness carrying me on your shoulder.
If this isn't pure love, than what is?
The world has grown crueler,
But you haven't.
The world failed to make me smile.
But you didn't.
                         How much I love you,
                         Can't be expressed in words.
                         My love for you,
Is far greater than the points on a circle."
                                       - Dhananjay Shitkar.

"If You Forget Me." ,This Is My Inspiration Folks!

"I want you to know one thing.

You know how this is;
If I look
At the crystal moon, at the red branch.
Of the slow autumn at my window,
If I touch
Near the fire
The impalpable ash
Or the wrinkled body of the log,
Everything carries me to you,
As if everything that exists,
Aromas, light, metals.
Were little boats that sail
Towards the isles of yours that await for me.

Well, now,
If little by little you stop loving me,
I shall stop loving you little by little.

If suddenly,
You forget me
Do not look for me,
For I shall already have forgotten you.

If you think it long and mad,
The wind of banners
That passes through my life,
And you decide
To leave me at the shore,
Of the hearts where I have the roots,
Remember,
that on that day,
On that hour,
I shall lift my arms,
And my roots shall set off,
To seek another land.

But
If each day,
Every hour,
You feel that you are destined for me,
With implacable sweetness,
If each day a flower
Climbs up to your lips to seek me,
Ah my love, Ah my own,
In me all that fire is repeated,
In me nothing is extinguished or forgotten,
My love feeds on your love beloved,
And as long as you live it will be in your arms,
Without leaving mine."
                           - Pablo Neruda.

#Respect?

Al Capone Beautifully Personifies ,"You Don't Need A Reason To Help People."

#SMILE - Once Again.

"Life is as hard it looks like.
Filled with stones, pebbles and spikes.
But even for once you are to smile.
That'd make people happy within a mile.
A smile is the curve that changes people.
It is a weapon deadlier than the Beagle.
And a curve that sets everything straight.
You need friends? Use it as a bait.
Smile, and the world shall bow before you.
Feel the power felt never felt ever by you.
The smile affects,
And we can witness the effects.
                             Smile like never before.
See some good after not before.
                             Never let your smile die.
Or lose all of your color dyes."
                                             - Dhananjay Shitkar.
